Images
When using images or graphics to illustrate text, it's important to consider their quality, size and source. An image can say a thousand words, so make sure you choose well. Images should be:
- High resolution
- Relevant
- Simple
They should ideally be in colour, unless the publication is black and white. Don't mix colour and black and white images in the same application.
For print, images should be 300dpi at final print size. For digital publishing, images should be 72dpi.
Check copyright usage and credit where necessary.
