MRC Festival: Information for organisers
£500 prize for the winner of the MRC Festival Zone - apply by 25 March
School students can ASK you, our MRC-funded researchers and technical staff, about medical science and your research/work in the online MRC Festival Zone. Being online gives time to refine answers, with live CHATs picking up the pace!
School students VOTE over the period 3-28 June 2019, with a prize of £500 for the winner to be spent on further outreach.
You’ll develop your communication skills and gain fresh perspectives on your work, while showing students the breadth and relevance of MRC-funded research. Apply today!
MRC-funded units, centres and institutes showcase and discuss their work through events and activities around the UK and beyond during the MRC Festival.
The MRC Festival aims to create a community across the MRC to share and celebrate medical research and its contribution to health, the economy and society. It also aims to support all MRC researchers, students, technical and professional support staff to deliver high-quality public engagement activities at the MRC Festival and throughout the year.
If you're interested in running an activity during next year's Festival or for more information email the MRC Festival.
For advice and information on public engagement visit the public engagement area on the MRC website.
